Here's some of our favourite New Moon merchandise at lower prices than you may expect!
DVDs
New Moon's DVD release data is 20 March 2010 and it's run time is 130 minutes. It seems that in stores pricing should be $32.99 for DVD and $34.99 for Blu-Ray. These are available to pre-order from Amazon now: 2-disc DVD, Blu-Ray.
As for special editions in the US, we've had news that Wal-Mart's DVD will include a 7-minute sneak peek of Eclipse, Eclipse interviews, behind the scenes footage, and the world premiere of a scene from the film. Borders, however, have a Medallion DVD edition which includes an "exclusive medallion necklace - gold side with wolf-pack tattoo, silver side is the Cullen crest on a silver chain" as well as new video content. Target will sell a 3-disc DVD edition which includes "the 2 Disc Special edition plus a third disc of never before seen content and a bonus collectible film cell".
The UK's situation is a lot simpler. Every DVD will contain the 7-minute Eclipse feature and more. HMV will sell a 2-disc DVD edition with memory box. This includes "presentation box beautifully finished in luxurious black PU leather with gold foil text and scrolling and a red velveteen inner with mirror. It has plenty of space to store all your treasured Twilight Saga possessions". The memory box is exclusive to the UK!
Soundtrack
New Moon's Soundtrack can be expected to sell for around $20 or in shops but we found it for $12.99 or £7.98 on Amazon (UK).
Alexandre Desplat's Score for New Moon can be expected, again, to be around $20, but we found it $10.49 or £8.98 on Amazon (UK).
Miscellaneous
There's already a plethora of stuff available, including pencil cases, posters, male and female t-shirts, bookmarks, calendars and all sorts. Our best advice is to look around your favourite shops (online or otherwise).
