Breaking Dawn
The fourth novel in the Twilight Saga series
"Don't be afraid," I murmered.
"We belong together."
I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own words.
This moment was so perfect, so right,
there was no way to doubt it.
His arms wrapped around me,
holding me against him....
It felt like every nerve ending in my body
was a live wire.
"Forever," he agreed.
Bella and Edward finally tie the knot in the last book and head off to a private island for their honeymoon. Although a few days after consummating the marriage Bella realizes that she is pregnant, and that her pregnancy is progressing alarmingly quickly. The newlyweds rush back to Forks so that Carlisle can watch Bella closely. When Edward, believing the fetus is a monster, wants Bella to have an abortion, Bella seeks help from Rosalie, remembering she always wanted children of her own.
Jacob is also torn apart when when the Quileute werewolf pack plans to destroy the fetus. Unwilling to kill Bella, the inevitable part of destroying her unborn child, he forms his own pack with Leah and Seth Clearwater. When Bella suffers a traumatizing delivery, and in an effort to save her life, Edward finally changes his wife into a vampire.
Things would seem idyllic for the new vampire family, but soon the Volturi becomes involved in their lives again when the Cullen baby, Renesmee is believed to be an uncontrollable "immortal child".
