The Oscar nominations have been announced, and Anna is nominated in the Actress in a Supporting Role category for her role in Up In the Air! Other actresses in the category are:

• Penélope Cruz, for her role in Nine
• Vera Farmiga, for her role in Up In the Air
• Maggie Gyllenhaal, for her role in Crazy Heart
• Mo'Nique, for her role in Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire
